Who:
Notre Dame Writing Club for 5th through 8th
graders.
What:
A writing club to showcase a variety of writing forms,
including creative writing, journalism and poetry. Our goal is
to publish some of our pieces on the ND website or through a
separate publication.
Where:
Room 7
When:
Meeting twice a month, on the 1st and 3rd
Tuesday of each month, beginning Feb. 2 and ending May 4th.
We’ll meet in the mornings from 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.
Why:
To express our creativity, improve our writing skill, and have
fun!
How:
If you’d like to join us, please fill out the registration form
below. We’re enrolling members on a first-come, first-serve
basis, and would like to limit our number to 25. There is a fee
of $30 to cover a small stipend for our teacher/sponsor and for
publication costs. The club will be run by teacher Ken Lakowski.
There will also be visits from other teachers and speakers with
professional writing experience. The club sponsor is a parent,
Meg Breslin.
