First Grade Germ Project

Here are some pictures about our germ unit.
We learned that white blood cells eat bad bacteria.
So we pretended we were white blood cells and used the
white spoon to eat bad bacteria (gummi worms) from red
blood (cherry jello).  Also we tracked one of the
children's germs around the classroom by taping a
string on the spot where the germs were left and then
picked up by another student.  We had a great time
learning about germs.
