Apple Glyphs

A glyph is a form of
picture writing that gives information about the
writer, and comes from the word  hieroglyphics.  The
second graders followed directions to color and
decorate their apple according to different criteria,
such as whether they were a boy or girl, did or did
not like pizza, or were on a soccer team or not .
