about a country served by the Heifer Project.
Notre Dame raised money during Advent
for this project, which raises money to buy
animals such as goats, cows, and chicks
for the poor in various countries throughout the world.
The goal of the project is to have the recipient
of the animal pass on this gift by donating the
offspring to another needy family.
