Here at Notre Dame we believe that following Jesus is joy and a life-long journey that begins with our Baptism and continues into eternity.
And here in our Religious Education Program we absolutely believe that!
Because we offer catechesis for Grades K-8 with each program specifically designed to teach your child the ‘good news’ in a way that excites them to ‘learn it’ and challenges them to ‘live it’ means we offer multiple volunteer opportunities to our adults to provide a way to share the joy of living the faith making our Religious Education Family truly a working family!
Our Religious Education Program thrives because of our volunteers! These many women and men, some who are parents, some grandparents, some working, some retired, some high school students, some college students and some young adults, but ALL of them passionate in one thing: Sharing their time, talents and passion to bring the joy of living our faith in the “every day” and sharing this gift with our children and youth.
We have many ways for you to join us!

WHERE DO I BEGIN
To be a Volunteer requires: (other than a Catechist)
To be a Catechist requires:
Even if you have never taught before, not to worry, you will receive special training as a first time catechist. Along with specific training for catechesis, classroom management, lesson planning, topical guides, teaching materials and supplies for each class. Many teaching assignments are set up as Team-Teaching to better support our catechists and today's busy schedules.
The best way to grow in your faith is to teach the faith!
